Returns and Warranty Information
The Basics:
Returns are accepted within 30 days of placing the order as long as the item is in new condition, unopened packaging and with all included items intact (i.e. instruction booklets, hardware, information cards, etc.).
When a request for return (made via email to billing@thesteelmccoy.com or via Contact Form) is approved, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you along with an estimated refund amount.
Once the item is received and the condition is confirmed, a refund will be issued to the payment method on the original order only.
Refund amounts will vary based on the item, condition, and are at the sole discretion of The Steel McCoy. The maximum refund amount will be the price paid less applicable return shipping fees. Additionally, some items will be subject to a restocking fee of 10% or more.
If a returned item is not in new condition, the refunded amount may be adjusted to fit the as-is value of the item, to include condition of the packaging. If an item is defective due to mishandling or negligence, no refund shall be issued.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware and abide by all laws and regulations in their place of residence. The Steel McCoy does not accept responsibility for any items seized by customs or other agencies and will not issue refunds in the event an item or order is intercepted.
Refunds will NOT be given in the event the shipping address on the order is incorrect. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure shipping details are entered correctly at the time of placing the order.
